Just as the process that creates the soft patinas and beautiful character of these salvaged timbers takes time, we at The Cornerstone Floor Group take our time to harvest each piece of reclaimed lumber carefully and attentively in order to match each bolt of lumber with its respective new owner.

The filtered sunlight of past mature forests combined with variances in slope, rain, wind, soil, and seasonal changes resulted in slower growth trees in our once virgin forests. These natural and competitive forces have all influenced and shaped the growth of trees that lived in these forgotten stands. The unhurried living conditions of these old timbers combined with the natural weathering, aging, and historical use, tells the stories revealed in the character, of each piece of reclaimed wood. These old growth planks and timbers were the backbone of America's first industrial buildings and the foundations of our pioneers' farms and homes.
